Key Responsibilities
- Legal Representation: Providing expert legal representation to indigent accused persons at High Court level.
- Complex Case Handling: Managing complex criminal matters in the High Court.
- Training & Supervision: Training and supervising Candidate Attorneys.
- Office Administration: Performing essential office administrative tasks.
- Advocacy: Representing women, children, and landless individuals in criminal cases.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Admitted Attorney or Advocate: Successfully completed pupillage at a recognized institution.
- Legal Representation Experience: At least seven (7) years of post-qualification experience, with a minimum of five (5) years post-admission.
- High Court Experience: Minimum of four (4) years in the High Court, or six (6) years in the Regional Court.
- Educational Background: An LLB degree is required.
- Proven Track Record: Experience in handling criminal cases at the High Court level.
- Additional Requirements: Right of appearance in the High Court; a valid driver’s license is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Salary Information
Compensation: LP-7 (R884,268.00) – all-inclusive package per annum.
