Role and Responsibilities

As a Hospitality Assistant, you will be responsible for bar service and stock management while working at various hospitality events in our company suites. You will oversee daily bar and catering operations alongside the Hospitality Coordinators and manage suppliers and team members within the suites. A strong understanding of stocktaking and reporting, as well as bar and catering skills, are essential. You’ll handle pre- and post-event reporting and stock management.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 2–3 years in the events industry or working in stadium suites.
  • Licenses: A valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in events management.
  • Proven experience in stadium suites and hosting events.

Responsibilities for the Brand

  • Stay informed about industry standards and regulations to ensure all initiatives are compliant.
  • Assist in hospitality suites during various sporting events while collaborating with clients and team members.
  • Support Hospitality Coordinators with weekly event reporting.
  • Manage events, ensuring smooth operations and supervising the event team.
  • Control expenditures and oversee stock ordering and control within venues.
  • Provide bar service, including serving clients and conducting stocktakes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external suppliers.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and enhance initiatives.
  • Establish and implement effective hospitality procedures.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations rigorously.
  • Prepare budgets and obtain quotes for events, adjusting as necessary, while maintaining comprehensive expense records.
  • Work with various departments to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Drive event attendance and analyze performance, providing thorough feedback.
  • Plan and prepare for all events well in advance, maintaining an annual events calendar.
  • Ensure seamless setup and coordination for events.
  • Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed due to event schedules.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
  • Maintain high energy levels for all events.
  • Conduct market research to understand and reach the target audience for each event.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
