This role is perfect for someone passionate about systems infrastructure, cloud technologies, and keeping business operations running at peak performance. As the System Engineer, you’ll take ownership of maintaining and improving Pedros’ IT environment — from Microsoft 365 and Azure to networks, firewalls, and endpoint security. You’ll be part of a fast-moving team ensuring all systems stay secure, efficient, and aligned with business goals. --- What You’ll Be Doing Manage and maintain Windows Server, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 services Handle patch management, data recovery, and uptime monitoring Configure and secure networks, including firewalls, VPNs, and switches Apply Group Policies and endpoint security across the organisation Use Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools to detect and fix issues proactively Lead root-cause analysis and serve as an escalation point for the IT support team Keep detailed documentation of systems, patching logs, and network setups Ensure compliance with POPIA, PCI-DSS, and company security policies Assist in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement projects --- Who We’re Looking For Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field 4 – 5 years’ hands-on experience in system or network administration (3rd-line support) Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel occasionally Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Expertise in firewalls, networking, and endpoint management Proven experience with RMM tools, Group Policies, and patch management Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and teamwork skills --- Why Join Pedros?
